For sale is a fully functional Iron Pre Single Ended with an RJM Emerald phono stage hardwired to input #5. This was the original version featuring matched Toshiba JFETs and Cinemag CMOQ-4HPCs. The chassis baseplate was modified to accommodate the dual mono Emerald phono stage, which receives power downstream of the Iron Pre's regulators.

The on-switch is at the back. The power LED is bright and is powered by AC off of the unrectified transformer secondaries.

Asking $600 obo, or trade for an Iron Pre Balanced chassis and completion kit. Thanks for looking.

Man< that IS a giveaway price. Didn't catch at first that there was a phono board in there too. Any adjustments on the phono board for cartridge? And a shot of the back would be great too.
There is a pair of DIP switches for gain/loading (JP1) on the Emerald boards which can select between MM (47.5k loading, 39dB gain) and MC (100R loading, 59dB). I forgot to mention, I'll be sending the RJM Emerald manual along with this build to the buyer.

Below is a picture of the back. Reminder: input 5 is hard wired to the phono stage, though there is no labeling on the back to mark it as such (I thought about a cool little laser marked turntable icon but I don't have access to such a machine anymore).

I'm really just looking to place this in a good home. I'll probably build a balanced version at some point, and my options were to cannibalize the chassis of this one, or sell it as built to someone who might use it and appreciate it. I'm choosing the latter. 🙂
