Greetings community!
My name is Dmitry, I'm from Riga, Latvia.
Working in ventilation systems manufacturing. Many years interested with vintage hifi - amps and speakers. During years i had to restore many speakers from cosmetic defects to building them from scratch.
Now i get rid of all vintage stuff and started to build few modern speaker projects. I'd like to met new ppl here to get more experience.

Welcome Dmitry from Latvia! I'm sure you will find lots of information and expertise here.
You might come to regret getting rid of all of the vintage stuff- Everyone here tends to have a collection of both new and old stuff- it seems the more you learn and experience the more you come to value what the past had to offer. I'll listen to new speakers one day, then get an itch for a retro experience and spin up a record on something from the 70's just to enjoy the different flavor.
Either way, welcome, and remember- we all LOVE PICTURES! so please post as many as you can. Welcome.

Thanks for warm greetings!
I have many pictures. 🤣
Here's few from my current restoration project, have to build new enclosures for Telefunken TL41.
No cnc involved, everything done manually.

Wow Dmitry- Most exceptional work- what quality and detail! I am amazed at your veneer work- top notch!
(Also quite jealous of your copious work space . . .

wparks thanks.
You won't believe, but it was my first build experience from zero. Also veneering.
I have many tools and machines like cnc plasma cutting, thicknesser, all kinds of saws, big bandsaw, few lathes... I'm making custom furniture, lighting etc. I have Instagram with some pics too, but not audio related.
