Lavoce interesting exit angle/phase plug design

Judging from the cutout of Lavoce's 1.4" drivers, we can see a very interesting phase plug design where the phase plug seems to end right at the start of the driver exit.
Such a design with no exit angle should make mating to a horn/waveguide smoother. Has anyone tried these drivers?

If there were a default wavefront shape it would be a plane wave. This is what the OS waveguide seems to be made for.

I'm curious as to why there are absolutely no info or experiences with these drivers on forums. Seems to me like solidly engineered drivers and decently priced.

These drivers are not old and well established yet, large part why i guess.
If im not mistaken the DF10.144lk ,1" ferrite has been disucssed several times in the ATH thread.
