My sony TV is having an audio problem it shows a constant fast blinking green LED.
I have removed all the peripheral equipment and pulled the HDMI’s
Removed the smartcard
Powered down the TV for 3 minutes
Reapplied main power
Picture and flashing green led IMMEDIATELY return, normal video available
Sound adjust bar visible on screen in position Min
Increased the soundlevel using remote, audio is heard but as soon as remote sound button is released the volume automatically slows to MIN again
This is repeatable

Hold TV power OFF on remote for 5 seconds, TV turns off, RED LED is ON, GREEN LED is now off.
Turn TV back on using remote,
Reported problem appears again.

Any suggestions?
The problem started after watching Apple TV PHOTO’ via HDMI and having the Apple TV sound in MUTE

I have removed the batteries from all my remotes in house: NO result.
My Apple TV remote has no battery accessible, played buttons, took remote into freezer being my shielded rf enclosure:
Problem solved TV back to normal ops. Next problem:How to fix Apple TV Remote.

Jordheis, you are the genius to solve my problem from the other side of the Atlantic. Thanks for your advices.
By now the Apple TV remote is fully discharged and I have to recharge to try the reset. The Sony TV is still back to normal ops.

After 24 hrs transmitting in my refrigerator the battery of my Apple TV remote was depleted.
Recharged it today and checked whether my Sony Bravia is now restored to normal ops.
YES all OK, probably it has reset itself by the complete powerdown in the fridge😀😀
