Is Transylvania University related in any way to Transylvania Power Company, maker of The Tube Karlson resonator? https://forums.prosoundweb.com/index.php?topic=129082.0
'Vlad the Embosser' doesn't quite have the same impact...

I apologize for my posting
I appreciate the info on who the company was
Here's a reference to TPC's Karlson, with graph: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...es-anyone-have-this-issue.298047/post-4860410
As the seal indicates, T.P.C. was incorporated August 29, 1975.I appreciate the info on who the company was
"THE TUBE" was available in 1" and 2" throat formats, though having seen and heard the 2" version, can't find a single example on the interwebs.
T.P.C. was located in Walnut Creek, California.
THE TUBE was licensed under John Karlson's 1970 patent # 3,540,544.
I don't think T.P.C. survived into the 1980s, only saw one pair in use in 1978, none prior or after.
Their advertised claims didn't hold up in the PA world...
Bill F. may have a "one of a kind" collectable. 🙂

It's a one-of-a-kind artifact for a one-of-a-kind champion and torch-bearer for all things Karlson. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for your service to the Karlson legacy, the DIY community, and my hobby enjoyment. Salute!
