I have a tube-based phono preamp with 787K resistors on the output RCA’s from signal to ground. I’m thinking of swapping out the RCA’s but I’ll probably end up butchering the resistors in the process; if I do, can I replace them with a 750K value? I’m sure I can, but maybe not.
No problem, anything 100k and over (for the total load, including amplifiers) is ok with a 1uF coupling capacitor,
as well as with the cathode follower.
