Hi guys I'm Looking for pics of circut board of a Profile california AP2000. Or circuit diagram if possible. I have an interminent turn off/on fail opened the amp and one resistor is burn and causing this just need to check specs on this resistor as it seem that someone already work on this amp an mixed 2 resistors in parallel and one in series to comply with the final load.
Post a good quality photo of the component side of the entire main board and the component side of any driver boards if no one can help.
I don't have many diagrams for fully discrete power supply circuits. Most have a comparator.
In the image below, you see two types of connections. I see quite a few of the green type in your amp. Those are generally OK. The ones that have solder on top and bottom of the board can cause a lot of problems, many intermittent. Desoldering and resoldering can make them better but is not a permanent solution.
If you have an intermittent problem, make a list of all of the voltages on the 494 when the amp is functioning and when not. Then follow the circuit back from the pin that's causing the 494 to power down.

Thanks Perry already fix the amp 580 ohms 1/2 w resistor was placed and now is running like it should .
