Marantz 2245 Balance

HI all,

Here I sit, staring at a Marantz 2245...Without a balance pot.
OK. It has a balance pot, but it's not connected.
Don't bother to tell me how I screwed up, because I didn't make this mess.

I have a schematic, and if I have to work this out I will, but maybe somebody knows what goes where. Maybe a hand written note from long ago.

Appreciate the help!

Could be defective, and the guy just bypassed it rather than replace it.
It's a special type, no longer available. But not too hard to reconnect, if you want to try it.

I now have 5 copies of the HiFiEngine version of the Service manual, but not a single word on how many wires I should be looking for or what goes where.

Any help here?

You have to go by the schematic diagram.
