Purpose of 100nF ceramic cap on I2s MCLK

Maybe a high pass to filter some nasty before the 74HC ?

Is the the Mclk runs on a differential line ?

I don't know, but it is to open the ball!

The gate after it is used as a linear limiting amplifier. The capacitor allows the gate to bias at the switching threshold
