Any one knoe what I can use these for? they go between amp and speaker rated for 15 "audio watts", what ever that means.
I am mostly building Pass projects.

If they are what I think, those attenuators keep input and output impedance constant in despite of the attenuation, they are intended to be placed after the passive crossover and before the speaker to adjust its level.
You should check its impedance.
You should check its impedance.
Now I read its name "T600", very likely its impedance is 600 ohms, suited for line level not speaker level (15W confused me), please check its value
Not really; but you will need to use 600 ohms as input/output impedances of your devices to take advantage of these attenuators.
This is not standard practice in these days; but it was pretty common long ago (telephony, early recording studios) where "maximum transfer power" was an issue.
I mean, you can still use them as attenuators without matching impedances, just be sure your preamp can drive 600 ohms loads, the input impedance of your amp will not have effect here.

I was thinking of using them at the input of the Iron-Pre until I build a switched attenuator. I think my Proceed CD player could drive the 600Ω of the attenuator, what do you think?
