I have for sale an HP 8903B Audio Analyzer. It was calibrated in 2014 and still works fine but I haven't used it for several years (now using Quant Asylum 401). Asking $300 plus shipping, assuming PayPal friends & family to avoid fees and taxes. It's refundable if it's not working when you receive it.

Cheers.

Thanks for your insights. As mentioned, it was calibrated in 2014 and not used much since. Price attempts to reflect the age. Shipping to South Africa would be prohibitive but I suspect you're seeking something newer and more expensive.

No I am an ex HP employee, there are many floating around here for sale from universities, laboratories, etc. I love HP equipment and won't say a bad word about the products from the years I spent there. In scientific measurement equipment price does not exist. In the embargo years these products along with Tektronics, Anritsu etc was purchase at 10 x the USA price via other dubious origins like Israel.

HP was the last company to actually implement the embargo. However availability was never stopped via other countries or agencies. A lot of the product came via Amsterdam, then Israel or another friendly nation. Not directly from USA but they knew exactly what was happening. Just did not take notice of it.
