It's hard to match NPN & PNP if you don't hve the quantity, because to3 is expensive i placed an order for NPN only, MJ15003G.
It's PNP complement is MJ15004.
Another choice would be MJ15022, MJ15024 (both NPN) and MJ15023, MJ15025 (both PNP).

Yes but i dropped my plan and purchased 4* NPN only. I want to use these for Class-A amps. I hve some good complimentary pairs in to-264.
There s also the NPN MJ15015 and its PNP complementary MJ15016 wich are 120V/15A/180W,
basicaly these are high voltage and power versions of the 2N3055/MJ2955.

NPN to PNP dont match too well on any of them. Possible at one point only, the curves won’t match because NPN and PNP behave differently wrt current. If you want really complementary pairs you are stuck with flatpacks.
MJ15015/6 should be avoided like the plague, especially if matching is important.
