Hi everyone, does anybody have the schematics of the MF A5 integrated amplifier?
Another question - is anyone familiar, or have made, the Russ Andrews suggested upgrade for this component?
Many thanks in advance

Hi Menachem,
No, they may be out there somewhere.
I am not familiar with Russ Andrews, so I can't comment.
With regard to modifications. Most don't do anything, many degrade the reliability or performance of the equipment. I've had to reverse many to restore proper operation. So, if you are thinking of changing anything, you must have the schematic that applies to your model and revision. You also must understand what changes are being made and the impact on the circuit.
If new parts or their leads are physically too large, do not install them! There are specific cases, like a resistor isn't rated for enough dissipation. Generally speaking, do not increase the size of capacitors. Also, coupling capacitor brands will not improve anything unless you are replacing a defective part. Then any good brand that fits and has the correct specs will work fine.
