I am a professional electronics repairer. I actually did it last time in the early 90s. Currently, I collect Technics equipment and repair them if necessary. But with CD players, your knowledge and help is needed because I don't have much of it myself.

I tried following the advice of wacky YouTubers on CD repair a few times. It always ended in tears.
I think DiyAudio would be the place to be if you were getting some CD player repair help. This is probably the best place.
