Do you know what capacitor c7, c9 and c11 do in the quad 909 amp. And what values can they be replaced with.
I ask as the 909 I have has been fiddled with by the previous owner and I am wondering what the stock values are

C7 is the bootstrap cap and is 47uf/63V. C9 and C11 are power rail decoupling caps and are 220uf/63V.
Thanks ! The bootstrap has been replaced with a 100 volt cap, and c9 and c11 are also 100 volt now as well - any possible advantage to this ?
In the power supply there are 80 volt capxcon caps, do you know why quad used 80 volt caps as c9 and c11 are 63v, why the oversizing in the power supply ?

I'd like to bypass C9 and C11 with a film cap, would this be okay. Not sure because for some reason there is no dual power supply, quad is creating a virtual one
I've connected the input rca jacks directly to the amp boards so do not need the quad bus. Do i just leave the bus as it is, or does it need to be dsconnected from the power supply
