My friend gave me a Parasound 2125 in a trade and the unit plays music fine but the standby mode won’t engage.
As soon as the amp is plugged in it turns on and pushing the standby button won’t engage it so the unit is always on.
Hoping to get some help on where to look and get the amp working right.
I attached the schematic below.

Have you confirmed the basics:
1) Using a meter, checked that the switch is switching (i.e. making and breaking the circuit)
2) Have you checked to make sure you have +24V and GND at connector CN9A/CN9B
3) Is there any voltage (change) on Pin 1, 2, 3 and 4 on connector CN21A? These go to the U1 chip
4) Have you checked the resistors and diodes on the stand-by board - sense you have a schematic, may be as easy as a resistor has failed and keeping U1 from working

After playing around with the switches on the back, I realized I had it on auto sending music and I switched it over.
That fixed my issue.
Thank you!
