Simple Request

I teach at a small school in Thailand. I want to update the sound system in my room.

Rectangular, cement walls, average height ceiling, seats 48.

I'm looking for recommendations for a system - I think I want a powered 6 channel mixer and decent speakers and am open to alternate suggestions.

So you want a sound system in your class room?
For a low/undampened room with cement walls maybe a high directivity system would be good.
Waveguided tweeter and not too small midwoofer, maybe?
