The polarity of Celestion DL10 drivers and Tweeters

Hi
Okay I should have taken pics before dismantling! Doh.
On each of the drivers and the tweeter of the above, there is one red dot sticker on the magnet next to each connector spade.
Can I assume that this indicates the + terminal?
I can test using a battery but don't know how to test if I have the tweeter wired correctly?

Thanks

Yes, the red dot is almost certain to indicate the positive terminal.

The DL10 is a three-way speaker.

As Freedom666 has indicated above, a midrange driver (and possibly tweeter) may be wired in opposite electrical polarity to the woofer to ensure all the drivers are acoustically in phase (this is because a loudspeaker crossover can introduce varying degrees of phase shift).

So, when the negative input terminal of the speaker system goes to - on the woofer, it may go to + on the midrange (and possibly tweeter).

In the absence of a crossover schematic or a judicious photo of the wiring, you will have to experiment with the midrange and tweeter polarities until the speaker system sounds right to you.
