I have a pair of Celestion DL10 10" woofers.
They have white oxidation on the Alu driver baskets.
I've wiped away the powder but don't want to go to town on them as the oxidisation isn't affecting the sound of the cones/voice coil etc.
Would the oxidation affect the resale value?
I've decided to strip the speakers down and sell the components as I don't think the speakers as a whole are in demand.

That looks pretty nasty! It would put me off as I would fear that the speaker system it came from had been stored under adverse conditions.
I would use a suitable primer to smooth out the oxidised area then finish off with a top coat of matt black paint.
Obviously, I'd be sure to be accurate in my description of the basket's condition, but in such a way as not to frighten off a potential buyer.
