I don't use old stuff but the casing is very nice particularly the symmetry and placement of the power on/off and the input selection button. The recessed inbus bolts in the brushed front cover are a nice detail. The upper cover looks grey/anthracite which is a better combination with the silver front cover than the usual black. When making a design like that I think I would use 1 mm holes and recessed 3 mm LEDs glued at the back.

Inspiration for the next project!
