It makes no sense at all. All you will do is introduce instability and the probabilitiy of bad solder joints or board damage.
Minidisc uses, like CD and DVD, highly compressed digitised audio and is not the best quality reproduction from any modern machine. You can't polish a turd.

I use this device as an external DAC. Interestingly, the 50ES model uses OPA2604 and OPA2132 operational amplifiers with the same binding as in the 30ES.You can't polish a turd.

It only makes sense if you wish to experiment. The 2114 is an extremely well specified opamp and you would struggle to better it in general purpose applications.
The OPA2604 would be one I might recommend were it not for the fact that this is out of production and almost all devices offered for sale will be fake. If you have NOS OPA2604 then absolutely try them.

And what can be used besides OPA2604 in a current/voltage converter? The OPA2604 would be one I might recommend were it not for the fact that this is out of production and almost all devices offered for sale will be fake.
Well there are no hard and fast rules, you have to try what might be suitable and give them a listen. You should also always check with a scope that its all OK no signs of instability with whatever you fit.
There is the LM4562 and for FET devices the OPA2134 but there are so many available now. Mentioning the ancient TL072 does little for my street cred 😉 but they really can sound so very good in the right applications. Try one and see what you think. I used them years ago (TL071) in a Micromega CD player and found them better than the original NE5534's. Eventually I went over to the OPA604 but can't honestly say it was 'better' than the TL071. You have to try them (TL072's of course).

But wasn't it worse?🙂Eventually I went over to the OPA604 but can't honestly say it was 'better' than the TL071.
So you have an example of a successful situation. Why not copy that and be done? No worries, tested and guaranteed outcome.I use this device as an external DAC. Interestingly, the 50ES model uses OPA2604 and OPA2132 operational amplifiers with the same binding as in the 30ES.
Now Mooly is a nice guy but TL072 has a few nasty properties and they are surpassed in a few areas by a vast army of other opamps. Mooly, it maybe is time for you to redo a listening/measurement session with TL072 😀 Absolutely one of the least optimal opamps to choose then and one of the worst one can choose today!

Oh that is undoubtedly true (the nice guy bit) 😀 😀Now Mooly is a nice guy but TL072 has a few nasty properties and they are surpassed in a few areas by a vast army of other opamps.
I have never tried TL072, but I like the sound of such as 4558, 4559. The only thing I don't like about them is the narrow width visualization.
You know exactly what I'm talking about, so why be sarcastic???Use another pair of glasses.
Dear colleagues, greetings! So, I tried to replace 2114 with 2604. The result: booming, lingering basses and small sibilants on the treble. In general, the sound does not cause rejection, but I could not listen to it for a long time
. Therefore, I returned 2114 and calmed down
. 2604 IS NOT fake
!!! The rise rate and quiescent current correspond to the specification.
