Has anybody ever tried an 8CX21 in a back loaded horn?

I have a swarm of subs to fill in the low end so I do not need low extension from the horn, rather a nice upper bass performance from this box.
Thank you

Not ideal per se, with that 379Hz mass-corner, but depends on the amplifier or whether you get any other compensation in there. If so, no reason you couldn't.
Thank you Scott. What is the relevance of the mass corner with respect to horn loading?
I have DSP and reasonably powerful amps.

The box only loads the driver to its upper mass corner (Fhm = 2*Fs/Qts') where T/S theory peters out and upper bass traditionally ends at 250 Hz, so presume you mean somewhere in the midrange.
