Your call, it has compression horn driver specs with a max XO point around 1200 Hz to a small tweeter horn, so no bass except with excessive loss of efficiency, ergo an upper mid-bass driver in your app with excellent telephone BW reproduction, but still low enough usable BW for 'boom', 'punch'.

Yes you can build a two ways in 14L@45Hz. The hard part is to find the tweeter to cross in the area 1200-1800Hz LR4.
I repeat like other people here, what is important is the quality of design.

The 8NTLS2000 isn't even close to a budget driver. According to Google he would have to spend at least 1 month of the average India's salary to get 1 - 2 drivers 😉 There are far better budget drivers out there, with a better Qes and EBP for the purpose.
