Audacity ® is showing out of memory error while installtion

HI
I am a freelancer offering 2d Animated video Services. I am facing a problem in one project where I have to edit audio of clip. I did some research and found that I will have to use Audacity for this project.

Now I am trying to install it in my pc and it is showing memory error on installation. Does anyone in this group has experience with Audacity Software

I'm going to say that I wouldn't have expected any issues tbh with that spec of PC. I sometimes used to run Audacity (until last year) on an ancient Acer with Turion 64 processor and 2Gb RAM. 80% RAM in use is pretty typical for modest amounts of installed RAM but that should cause no issue. That is what the paging file is for.

Things I would try to begin with are to make sure you install after having done a true restart. If you have 'Fast Boot' enabled (which I think it is by default on W10) then lots of stuff may be committed to memory that is simply reinstated each time you turn on. I would also run a full disk clean and use the option to 'Clean System Files'.

When installing if you get offered the choice of installing for 'just you' or 'for all users' then I would try the all users options.
