Can i aslk a few questions?
What do these really mean:
From this image it does look like the bracing could be better.
And this is quite misleading, some would say an untruth…. assymetrical placement does not eliminate edge diffraction it just spreads it out.
This very 90° corners will have edge diffraction and does little to nothing to deal with the diffrction that happens at the 2∏ to 4” transition lower down in frequency.
This graphic is fantastic, for most diyers it is only the black but at the bottom.

Thank you for your feedback on the graphics; it's much appreciated.
Our target audience includes those who wouldn't normally build speakers—not the experienced DIYers like yourself, who already have the knowledge and skills. We're focused on removing barriers to entry, from a lack of tools to confusion about where to start.

Hi Dave,
For sure, it's a work in progress. The crossover has gone through 3 design generations since it was first released - from lower crossover points (2.7 to 2.4k) to increased baffle step compensation and changes to the time correction filter to better suit realistic listening distances of 2-3m.
At the moment it's a complete only kit option, but I plan only releasing a crossover only option soon, just the drivers and cabinet material are to be sourced by the builder. The new crossovers will include 12 awg air core inductors for the woofer section and 630-250v film caps throughout. I'm just waiting on the new 3d printed circuit boards to arrive.
These are current crossover designs; the new design will allow for the parts to be spaced out a bit more.
BTW beautiful part to world that you are from. I was in Victoria last year and will be back this summer.

If Hobart's weather is anything like Melbourne's this week, you'll be spending a lot of time sitting by the heater listening to music!
Not sure how large or small the DIY market in Oz is, but looking at the prices for well known retail speakers, we pay through the nose so DIY can make a lot of sense.
