I'm now in the electronics game for 50 years and still active working as an Avionics Engineer at a International Airline. My winter hobby is restoring old vintage amps or Receivers. Love the stuff down to discrete component level.
Hi Hugo, Thanks!! Feeling welcome already. I'm from New Zealand were it now is the middle of winter and 7Pm. Im currently rebuilding a Yamaha CR2020 that is in very bad shape. Also a CR1040 that I bought for parts but decided to restore as well... too good a condition and will need some help from other members that might have tried to build new Hybrids the ones on Aliexpress is fake sub standards.
Here is the CR1040 on the operating table in need of a Heart Transplant LOL

The Heart for me is the AMP side and I got it with one channel blown and that was the fake replacement and it took down the pre driver Hybrid as well. It need a proper or clone . Im looking for a circuit design on a cad with a GERBER file to replicate and found a guy on this site that build one back in 2020-04-09 hope to contact him
