I am having trouble with my Peerless SLS 8 for my 3 way. I have taken actual theile small parameters using REW. When I enter those into WINISD I always end up with a weird hump. Stock parameters for the Peerless SLS 8 is dead flat. I will show the parameters, the graphs, and the box.
Does someone know of anything I can do to fix this? I planned on crossing it over at 300hz but I fear I will end up with an odd dip between 80-200 hz.
Stock line is red, actual measured theile paramters is pink.

At a glance, super high Qts, though noticed you used a higher Sd (213 Vs 201 cm^2), which affects Mms, Vas, so need to redo your measurements and maybe some serious breaking in using pink noise at high enough power to stretch it to its Xmax.
I ran it for 20 hours of pink noise and sweeps. Maybe I need to to turn the volume up and break it in more
I did use an Sd of 213 because that is what Peerless states in the specifications. Why should I be using 203? Where did you get that spec from? The actual measurement of the cone? I know the surround is supposed to be part of the cone to some extend on woofers of this type.

Welp...... that's my problem lol
I got the data from Parts Express who has it listed at 213.8
Lesson Learned: Get specs from manufacturer site
It’s the goofy TS parameter of tangband ‘subwoofers’, but I still can’t get the shape of sim to match very well
Booger, I used a tang w5 in another three way and ended up with something similar to your but farrrrr worse. I will have to rebuild that cabinet because of it. Next go around I will be measuring the Theile parameters myself now that I have the equipment. Their stated parameters must be way off
