Hi everyone,
Interested in the discontinued Soekris DAC1101.
Anyone want to sell theirs to me? Can pay swiftly via PayPal, if the price is ok.
Soekris DAC1101, 2 pictures of it ...
Have never heard it, however read the forum thread here when it was new and there was much excitement surrounding it.

Have a nice day !

Hi !
As expected no replies yet, however when someone with a < soekris dac1101 > (in lower-case stylistically, the way they wrote it...). ...Wants to sell me theirs so I can listen to it, and assess this unique DAC, just send me a PM which should alert me via E-mail.
The price I'm aiming for is the same as other soekris dac1101 threads here "sold for 199 Euros" or a bit less.
If no one offers to sell me their soekris within 1 week then I'll likely buy a quality Sabre ESS again.
I also noted that the soekris dac1101 has sold in various forums around the internet, which is elucidated by "website surveyance services" such as this one - https://www.hifishark.com/model/soekris-dac-1101
According to hifishark.com, the soekris dac1101 was selling in Hifitorget for SEK 2,000, which is 174.32 Euros, so 175 Euros seems to be the market price for the soekris dac1101.
If unhappy with "the market price" then the regular formula "50% of what you bought it for new" is fine. So i.e. if you receipt states 400 Euros, then the formula 50% of 400 Euros = 200 Euros is appropriate.
---
As a side note, I will probably never own a PCM1704 / PCM1704U-K however I assume that the soekris dac1101 is "already better" than the 1704 similar topology.

We have had several models, you might take a look at the newest dac1321, unless you need the features specific to the dac1101....
