Technics SU-G95 Blows Main Fuse Upon Power Up.

No burns seen on boards. Solders look passable. Any quick and easy checks? I am electronics novice.

Did a second, identical fuse also blow?

Yes. Blew 2 Immediately 6.3 Amp Slow Blow. Up like Fire Crackers. Just bought complete system at yard sale. Everything powers up but Amp.

Ok, then there is likely to be a fault inside the amp.
Is there a chance the speaker wires were shorted, or the amp was overdriven?
Was the air circulation blocked for some reason?

Don't know. Have covers off Amp. No burn marks anywhere. Unplug ribbon connectors and try again?

It's a very good bet that there are damaged parts inside that will need troubleshooting and replacement.
