Zapco ST-204D SQ

The capacitor connected between rca ground and chasing ground wire burned. Anybody can suggest the value of it please. Thank you. Pictures attached.

Have you tried contacting Zapco?

Why was voltage present on a ground wire?

No I did not contact them. The ground wire touched the outputs by mistake while testing. After finish repair.

If this is a wire that shunts noise from the heatsink to ground, it's likely a 0.1uF but check with them to get the correct value.

Scrape away all of the carbonized fiberglass before you reassemble the amp.
