He is now repairing or rewinding power and output transformers for a reasonable price! No new transformers sadly but at least you can get your fried old amps back in business!

Good news. I do wish he was still winding new iron though. I would be placing an order right now. I used his output transformers and choke when I built my 300B.

Yah, I noticed that as well when I went searching for Transcendar on a whim. I still wish he was winding new iron again.

We all wish that was the case. I’ve got a few outputs he made that are really nice. I think the cost of the laminations has gotten out of control for him to charge a sane price on new transformers. M sure he’s got a massive stock of wire so rewinds are easier cost wise.
