Hi, fellow audio enthusiasts. Can someone please explain to me what Denon mean when they say that you need an anti oscillation resistor on the probe for the dc meter when adjusting the Bias. It's got me stumped. I have searched google with no luck.

Adding a long wire to a sensitive circuit node can easily cause oscillation, or worse.
The resistor partially decouples this parasitic, at least if the resistor is at the circuit end of the wire.
