This matchinhg data will tell you more (don’t use it for modeling). Very well matched pair. 0.0% difference in sensitivity.

I managed to get a selection of drivers on eBay, I bought them mainly for the Alpair 7.3.
So what would you build, keep or sell (kiss, marry, kill)

Fostex FE126En
Fostex FF 85WKeN enabled by @planet10
Scanspeak 10F/8424G00
Mark Audio Alpair 7.3

I've heard a couple of these.

For context, my current speakers are 2.5-way speakers with 2x 8" woofers and a 1" compression driver. I don't necessarily listen particularly loud, but they play any music at any volume I choose, and sound good doing it. Above 1kHz, distortion is vanishingly low.

The FE126En struggles with "complex" music, and has a treble peak that can turn some instruments/voices harsh. This could charitably be called "detail", but I find it severely restricted my listening. Small-scale acoustic stuff sounded great, but that was about it. Low-frequency power handling is nearly zero, on account of the limited Xmax. Sure, they don't sound too bad if you only exceed Xmax by a little bit, but once you notice the vocals become garbled on every kick drum hit, it's hard to ignore.

The Mark Audio drivers improve a lot of what's (IMO) wrong with full-range drivers. They're smoother in the HF, and have more LF power handling. The A7 is still a small cone, though, and even with a helpful cabinet like the Frugel Horn Mk3, there's only so much they can do.

Haven't heard the others, but the Scan 10F has an excellent reputation. If you wanted to sell that pair, or maybe trade for something, let me know.

They have arrived! All look in pristine condition. There was also a few Sure 15w class d amps, a couple of L-pad attenuators and a Dayton speaker testing thing.

I'd be tempted to sell the Scanspeaks and probably the FE126.

I've got loads of parts and Cnc cut baffles for the Alpair 7's so will build these up.
