I am hosting a HIFI build for my company in my shop. This cabinet I have designed can only take the port up firing or down firing.
The feet of the cabinet will be 9-14.2mm depending on which one I choose.
Will the down firing port end up muffled by the table it sits on? Am I better off having the port come out of the top?

the small feet and bottom of the box may act as a extension of the port, depending on the existing port surface.
Also consider the flange should be flush to the outside of the enclosure. And the distance from port intake to the adjacent wall seems very close. This will influence tuning (again acting as port extension).
