Fostex 208 NS 8 inch driver cabinets, bookshelf size

Hi just wondering if anyone knew of a reasonable compact design for these speakers.
I previously had them in kirishima cabinets, but those days are gone of huge cabinets in my front room. so want to either build or buy some that are more compact. Appreciate the bass will be limited.

Well the most compact cab with good deep bass is probably the tapered transmission line. My general purpose 17L TLonken worked fine for the F200A:

Works in a 9 litre reflex, F6 in the low-mid 80s. would need woofers.

If you ar eadding woofers, sealed at about 5 litres XOed at 145 Hz.

Won’t work really well in a TL. Hard to get a decent alignment with such low Q.

i would prefer the SCHALMEI Sat and a sub, best dynamic, soundstage, down 90 Hz.

The classic way (ref Bottlehead) is to put the FExx6 into a sealed box and bring the woofers up to them.
