Most all distortion comes from the output stage as this does not have negative feedback.
THD figures with 8 Ohm load:
01 Watt 0.001%
02 Watt 0.002%
05 Watt 0.005%
10 Watt 0.010%
20 Watt 0.038%

Yes, you can.
If you use transistors that can take at least 35 or 50 volt.
You should adjust R22 to feed like 2.5-5 mA into the circuit.
And R26 will set the constant current into the input pair. And R27 into the VAS.

Hello, lineup
I'm glad to finally find a schematic that doesn't use exicon among the schematics you drew (even though the output stage is from pass F4)
It's difficult to purchase and ship exicon directly in South Korea
I want 10W output, but I don't think I need to use all 3 pairs of mosfet
I'm not an expert in electronic circuits, but I know that parallel connection of these mosfet causes third order harmonic distortion
Firstly, I want to make a PCB with 1 pair of NMOS, PMOS
I might change the transistors that are difficult to purchase
If there is anything wrong with what I wrote, please teach me a lot.

Where on Earth did you get this from?
- Home
- Amplifiers
- Solid State
- 22 Watt Amp in Class A. Discrete OPamp + Pass F4
