March Audio Sointuva uses this combination of drivers with two passive radiators. Not sure of the crossover details, but there's a long thread on the speakers on Audio Science Review.
Edit: looks like there's already a thread here too:

I used the very similar PTT6.5 midrange with the TW26BNWG and got an excellent result. And obviously the Sointuva is very highly thought of.
The nature of this driver is that it usually requires a modest size air volume, but a low tuning frequency. With a bass reflex enclosure, the vent diameter needs to be bigger than typical for a 6" driver due to the capability of the driver, and the length of the vent is too large to fit into a small box. Most people use a passive radiator for this reason.
But I was thinking that most of the time, this type of speaker would be used on a speaker stand. It would be possible to incorporate a large vent into the stand itself (external to the box).

Downsize does not mean it has to be a 2way...
Having built a 3.5 ltr 3way, I know this to be the case.

Thinking of going in this direction. is there an Hypex amp to use in active speakers using a passive x/o and would be feed via my valve preamp?I used the very similar PTT6.5 midrange with the TW26BNWG and got an excellent result. And obviously the Sointuva is very highly thought of.
