100 ohm to 8 ohm

Hello all, I had a question about converting the output on this schematic to be compatible with 8 ohms speakers. The description mentions 32R to 600R range with 100R load being optimum

Your approach going for an EL34 power amp is the right one 👍
Thanks man, my only hurdle with that is how to pick up the signal for the sub that includes the tube flavour. I thought to use a car audio type high to low converter to pick up a stereo line level signal and send that to DSP and class D for the sub

I was just only shopping for output transformers and tubes for the EL34 amp. The Psvane EL34C are a bit cheaper than the Shuguang EL34B and the kits states EL34B tubes. Also, the choice between the ECC83 and 12AX7, not sure which is the best fit for the EL34B/EL34C

Found this schematic to pick up the line level signal

To quote scripture: All things are possible.

A 100 Ohm to 8 Ohm converter (100:8) is called:
Drum roll . . . .
a Transformer or an Autoformer.

Z:Z ratio = 12.5:1
Turns:Turns ratio = 3.5:1

Should be simple for many output transformer manufacturers to design and build.
You might even be able to find something on the shelf; or wind your own (diy?).
But you will only get whatever power the amplifier puts out; the transformer does not increase power.
