Power LED too bright! IcePower 125ASX2 Ghent case

Hi all! Just a silly little thing really - I've just put together an IcePower 125asx2 class D amp kit from EU company Sound Imports, it all went well, despite my limited experience and zero instructions! Just one thing, the power LED (GP150 Power-Button-Kit from Ghent it seems) is way too bright - could I tweak something to lower this brightness do you think? I can see the AUX out socket it is connected to says it is typical 24v according to the IcePower data sheet. Or maybe a better switch that could fit might have adjustable brightness or colours etc? I can of course just disconnect it, but was hoping there might be maybe something I could do electronically - I wouldn't have a clue but you proper DIY folk probably will! 😊

Thanks for the suggestions, looking at the board of the switch assembly there are actually 2 tiny leds, really very bright, obviously designed to shine through the silicon sleeve around the button. Unfortunately as they are only on the underneath they shine mostly through the gap in the hole around the bottom of the button itself… is it safe to tape over these, they are extremely bright but I presume they shine cold? Can’t get my finger in to test!

Thanks, I’ve actually discovered what half the problem is, the Sound Imports case (sold as Soundimpress) doesn’t seem to be a standard Ghent case, the standoffs for the back of the power button are too short and allow the button to protrude out of the case when on much further than a Ghent case… making the silicon surround far brighter than it would be if sunken into the case as designed. There is also a hole in the base of the case for a mounting riser as well, so this is in entirely the wrong place - poor design! Maybe I will measure the standoffs and see if I can get slightly longer ones and ignore the supporting riser?
