I have a counterpoint sa-2000 hybrid preamp/line control amp , it has 2 valves in it and I’m wondering which of these will have more of an effect on the sound ? Should I wish to tube roll
The 6DJ8 is the only one actively amplifying any signal, so that's the only one that should have much of a change.
No need to change rectifier tube. In low power application should last forever.
When it comes to dual triode, each brand will sound different.

Agreed regarding 6DJ8. The 6CA4 rectifier output is highly regulated by subsequent circuitry, and it is unlikely that you will be able to hear any difference in rolling rectifier tubes.
The manual for your device cautions in section 8 that the user must use the same tube type as specified in replacing any tube when it becomes necessary. So, it wants you to stick to 6DJ8 tubes. It also requires that the bias be reset after burn-in of a replaced 6DJ8, Be sure to perform this ritual after you “rolled-in” a different 6DJ8.
Are you sure you want to do 6DJ8 rolling?

I currently have a 6922 tube fitted which I believe is the equivalent but with a higher voltage capacity 🤷♂️
Reset the bias !! Is that complicated?

If the equipment is working properly, there should be no change at all.I have a counterpoint sa-2000 hybrid preamp/line control amp , it has 2 valves in it and I’m wondering which of these will have more of an effect on the sound
The loudspeaker dominates that.
Don't sweat it. Sit back with a glass of wine & enjoy the performance,
you are not a music critic.😀
It does sound very nice in comparison to other preamps that I have . It has its quirks too like the mute doesn’t mute completely 🤷♂️
The bias procedure is explained in section 8 of the manual. I believe you have a copy based on the snapshot of section 2 in your post #1. The procedure is not difficult, but probably not suitable for most endusers; it assumes you have a signal generator and distortion analyzer to adjust the bias (trimmer VR5 and VR105) of each triode for minimum distortion. Next you have to adjust the two channels for equal gain (VR610A&B)I currently have a 6922 tube fitted which I believe is the equivalent but with a higher voltage capacity 🤷♂️

If you (or a previous user) have already replaced the 6DJ8 with a 6922 and the performance makes you happy one might assume that the rebiasing is not that critical.
Also- important note- Do not fall for the marketing of sellers that list the Chinese 6N1, or Russian 6n1p as a 6DJ8 replacement. They are rather different tubes.
The proper replacement for your 6DJ8 would be the 6DJ8, 6922, ECC88, E88CC, or Russian 6N23P.

The 6DJ8 was designed for RF amplifier & Mixer applications.
Tubes like 5687, 7119 & so on were designed for hi-reliability apps.
How much time do we think the designers would have spent
considering our audio applications?😀
