I have purchased an operational Bogen CHA70a amplifier and may have bittten off more than I should have. Although I can muddle through without a schematic, I prefer to use one on anything I haven't tangled with before. Not only have I not tangled with this model, I haven't worked on any Bogen amps before, so any help that someone could offer would be greatly appreciated. I am a newbie to ANY forums here and did not really join up to start asking favors. I am worried about this one because the usual sources have failed me. i have tried Antique Radio Supply, el34world.com, Schematics Unlimited, Electrotanya, and several places I cant remember as well. I checked with Sam's Photo Fact and even they did not offer anything for sale. This must be Bogen's Edsel ! Anyway, If anybody knows where i couod get one, i would be willing to pay for it as long as it isn't too high priced. Thanks......dimwatt.
Are you certain that number is right?
Even Sam's photofact does not list it.
Here's the closest one around, both are in the Challenger series.

Hi rayma, and I thank you! That looks exactly like what I have here. The person I bought it from identified it as A CHA70a but he must have gotten confused., and it hasn't been delivered yet so I haven't seen but a picture of it on ebay.I am not familiar with Bogen products and this is the first amplifier that I will be working with which is triple rectified, plus he has made some modifications to it which I have to undo, so I hated to just dive in without some guidance. I REALLY APPRECIATE you straightening me out on this!
rayma. Sorry to double post here but I just downloaded the diagram you pointed me too and the excellent place I got it from. $5 is a puny amount to pay for what I got. I will save Electronic Service Manuals for future use and I offered to donate to his site as places like tat are getting scarce. Man, I can't thank you enough. I am much better off not having to wing it on this one !
Great, that took a while to find, but it seems close enough. Bogen made tons of models.
Even if it's not the exact same model, it should be good enough to help.
That's generous of you, and I'm sure they appreciate the donation.
It may not be long before places like theirs are but a memory.
