Lowther A55 alnico

Hello,

Long time...🤓

I’ve built a few Lowther back loaded horns over the years... I am now looking for a design that will suit my A55 drivers. I was looking at the Alerion plans, but it would require substantial mods to fit the fat A55 magnet in there. I was wondering if anyone here has experience building a BACK loaded horn for this specific model (or the A45)?

Any help woud be appreciated.

They do have the 205F using the DX55 driver. So you might drop them an email for the suitable plans for your driver

i made this 1985, mids with FL horn very good, below 250 Hz not enough, better take SCHALMEI Sat with an 8" and add a sub below 100 Hz

Finally made a slightly modified version of the Alerion. Works quite well...😎👍
