JCM900 4100 bridge rectifier

Hi

I am looking for a replacement for a bridge rectifier W005F on the preamp board of this amp. Can I use any bridge rectifier with a 1.5A, 50V rating or higher. The datasheet states it is a glass passivated bridge diode. Can a normal bridge diode be used.

Thanks

Is this for filaments?
Use at least a 6 A rated bridge, even a chassis mounted 35A one, those with a square aluminum case are often used there, it never hurts.
For some unknown reason Filament Rectifiers Fail often, way overrating is common.
They are cheap anyway.

Did you end up moving forward with this? There should actually be two W005F on a JCM900 4100, the first one is to rectify the +/- supply that goes to the IC opamps. The other one is for clipping the guitar signal on CHB. Both of my W005F appear to be operational but I am going to replace the one supplying the +/- op amps because I recently saw a JCM900 repair video that recommended when replacing to have the W005F raised off the board since it generates a bunch of heat it can end up burning out charred that portion of the PCB.
