600v IGBT shortage, replacement for HGTG30N60A4D

It appears that there is quite the shortage in IGBT's at the moment, with wait times as long as 9-12 months!
I've used all my stock up of HGTG30N60A4D 's, which are used in many pro audio amplifier SMPS's. They are designed for high frequency (100khz, 200khz at lower current)

HGTG30N60A4D was made obsolete a few years ago, I currently stock a pair of IXGH48N60C3D1 , these look like they should be a suitable replacement given the switching frequency used of 40kHz in the amplifier I am currently repairing. Would somebody be able to compare these two devices and see if I'm on the right track in terms of these being a suitable replacement?
However, the IXGH48N60C3D1 are also out of stock, so once I use these, i'll have to find another replacement for future repairs.

Can anybody recommend replacement IGBT's for the HGTG30N60A4D? The Replacement must have a build in Free wheel Diode.
I found this one from On Semi that is in stock, FGH75T65SHD-F155 , looks similar in terms on turn off delay times, gate charge and Qrr. It seems there is much more range in the 650v IGBT's than 600v IGBT's.
Is there much of a drawback in using a 650v IGBT in place of a 600v one?

If anybody could help with suggestions that are in stock at Mouser / Digikey / RS Components, It would be much appreciated.

A higher voltage is always better.

Look in the ranges up to 1000 V, they are used a lot in motor drives, so stock and alternates will be easier to find.

Filter with the other parameters you need.

And look outside the USA as well, some sellers do not sell in the USA because of low volumes.

Shipping per carton may be almost same so get some extra, shipping per piece will be less.
Here the same charge for parcels up to 500 grams, and letters up to 50 grams...so a few extra are being shipped free, in effect.

What may be the issue is the exact same part, they get improved all the time.
And like above, it is really a jelly bean part, you should get equivalents from many suppliers.

And Mospec is good, as are many Chinese suppliers, they don't bother to sell in small quantities, Digikey and Mouser are small for them, go figure...

Some people say CRC Micro is no good...the beer company belonging to the same group of owners is in the top ten beer makers in the world, and they are also a big real estate business.
Integral foundry to packaging, three plants, but they insist on about 100k MOQ...which even the large traders cannot handle.

I have no ties to any names here.

Apart from EVs, look in the parts for variable frequency motor drives, and on line power controllers, this type of IGBT is common in those applications.
Fairchild used to make good IGBTs, but I do not know what happened after OnSemi took it over, some parts may have been merged or stopped for commercial reasons.
Same case for NXP, Renesas and others.

Like I said, filter the selection at a large trader with a proper web site, they will have a selection from different vendors.
That should solve your problem.

Please read that as 'which even the large traders sometimes cannot handle'

Which is true enough, few large volume users left in Europe and North America, who would be amenable to buying through a distributor, allowing them profit in a cut throat business, where the price difference between winner and loser can be 10 cents per 1000 units.

And yes, please find out what caused the failure if replacement is needed, those are generally reliable parts.
