Hi. I have a pair of Aleph J monoblocks built in 2019. One has started to have a fairly regular popping crackling noise when in use. Definitely the amp and not any connection or cable issue. Any pointers as to where I should start to look for the fault?
Thanks

Short the input and connect a junk speaker for the troubleshooting. Look for questionable solder joints.
Use freeze spray to check resistors. Poke around with a non-conducting tool, wood or plastic.
If you have spares, try replacing the input fet pair as a test.

Rayma's advice is good. I think starting with the tapping components gently with a chopstick or something is a good start. Also, check bias and offset.
Most importantly, share lots of pictures of the guts.

Without knowing much I'd point at the power supply (caps sometimes tend to go bad). Maybe you could try swapping the PSUs / amp boards between the two chassis to figure out the source of the noise.
