I did the hummingbird design for SC.
I have an updated pcb for thst amp that moves the driver transistors next to the output. It hasn't been published as the original was ok, but I Would build the new ones given a choice.
There is no real measurable performance difference but the layout is cleaner. Will shoot you a copy if you wish.

Interesting! I was thinking of grabbing a pair of kits from Altronics to build and have a listen.
