Pulled the trigger on a pair.

This is a curious driver; a paper cone with formed creases which keep cone very stiff. Also an unusual phase plug design. No real idea on quality of motor but parameters and measurements look ok, plus 'built in' baffle step compensation which helps with crossover design and sensitivity

Built in baffle step compensation = FR tilts down towards high frequencies between 100-1000Hz. When is such a driver is put and measured in the box, resulting FR will be flat, and baffle step compensation done in the drossover will not be needed. Practically it means main coil in woofer crossover will have smaller value.
For getting the baffle loss calcs, would you focus on the baffle width, as well as woofer distance from floor and/ or baffle bottom, to coincide with the frequency tilt in box? Glenn
Going for a fairly simple 2 way standmount, around 26 litre. Haven't even decided on tweeter ATM. Possibly Beyma air motion
Looks a lot like elsinore project. Minus the waveguided tweeter.

How much did they cost you?
Unfortunately they haven't arrived in time to take back to Thailand. Delivery was supposed to be 5 working days to UK. A delayed project. 😞
Yes. Looking at dhl delivery and drivers are yet to leave Germany.. I have a friend staying, so at least someone is there when they finally turn up. Will build cabinet in advance and pick up next April.
Ok they arrived in UK a few days ago. Unfortunately now 6000 miles away but will start a design paired with Bozhen CQ66
