SonIQ-1/1.2 POWER Supply (2-20V/1A + Optional 5V/1A)
I’d like to introduce a new product for review.
The SonIQ is a hybrid DC-DC power supply available in two versions:
SonIQ 1 (Single Channel): Output voltage is set using an internal DIP switch in the range of 2–20V, with a step of 0.1V, and a current of 1A (peak up to 1.25A).
SonIQ 1.2 (Dual Channel): Adds a second output of 5.1V (USB-C) with 1A capability.
Key Features:
This power supply is versatile, with minimal requirements for input source quality. It supports a wide input voltage range. For example, you can feed it from a cheap 24VDC source and get dual 5V/1A outputs without overheating.
The SonIQ stands out for its ultra-low noise levels across the entire frequency range. Its sound signature is full-bodied, with natural timbres, impressive bass, and crystal-clear highs. To achieve this, we focused on the sound quality during development, carefully selecting passive components.
Example Use:
In the image, the SonIQ 1.2 is powered by a standard K11 power supply, with the first channel set to 10V (enough to power the K11). The second channel (5.1V USB-C) is connected to the SR11.
All this is packed into a compact 8×3×6 cm case.
