Picking your speakers based on class of Amp

Is there a connection between Class of Amp and the kind of speakers best suited to that class.
Or is this just another brain fart I had.
i.e. if building speakers for a class A amp. What TS would you look for vs say building speakers for a Class D amp.
I searched its not been discussed before.
 
There’s little difference between a majority of transistor amplifiers because their use of feedback results in low output impedance, around 0.1 ohms,

High output impedance valve amplifiers produce soft and bloated bass with weakly damped loudspeakers.

So, some investigation into amplifier output impedance and loudspeaker Q could bear fruit. The following link may be helpful:
