Seas L26ROY + Seas T35 C002, is it possible?

Hello all knowledgeable DIY'ers,

I have some drivers in my possession that I want to make use of. The L26ROY D1011-04 from a subwoofer build and the Seas T35 C002 from Troels DTQWT mkII.
The DTQWT's have had the mids burnt out and holes poked thru the pulp and dust caps pushed in too hard from little toddler fingers. So they are to say out off commission, but the tweeters are fine and dandy. As I only have built pre designed constructions I don't have the necessary skills or equipment to design my own speakers, yet. So I kindly ask here is if my idea is possible or even a good one? I was thinking about building a 2-way larger floorstander. But I haven't simulated anything or measuered the drivers. Is there a kind soul here in this forum who can help out an aspiring DIY'er?

What a shame about the midwoofers.

Even though the T35 can go low, I think the best use of the L26ROY is as the bass driver in a 3-way or as subs with a 2-way.

If it was me, I'd fix your DTQWTs as you already have the cabs and expensive waveguide, and build some subs.

Well, you might pull that one. The L26 breaks up at about 2300Hz, so crossing it around 1k is obligatory. The waveguided T35 would be able to perform from 1kHz up. Since the L26 has the copper in the motor, midrange distortion could be OK. I wouldn't call it a mission impossible. But you must be willing to measure the system and raw drivers. Enough here that can help you with the crossover.

Possible? Maybe...

But you will have to choose less than optimal crossover points for both drivers, and the tweeter must be padded down at least 10 dB.
The L26ROY is a fine subwoofer, but not a very good midrange (in my experience).

A lot better idea is to find a high-efficiency mid-woofer like the FaitalPro 10FE200 or similar to match with that tweeter, and use the L26ROY for an active subwoofer.
